FAQ

Questions leaders ask first

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching is focused on your goals at work: performance, leadership and professional relationships. It is not psychological treatment and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Tammy's psychology background shapes how she understands behavior and change, but Tamaca Leadership provides coaching and consulting only. If something comes up that is better served by a therapist, she'll help you find the right referral.

Do you work with clients outside Arizona?

Yes. Coaching and consulting are delivered by video nationwide and internationally, with on-site work available by arrangement.

How long does coaching last?

Most individual engagements run about six months. Some clients come for a shorter, focused project, such as preparing for a new role or a major negotiation.

Who pays, me or my company?

Either. Many clients are sponsored by their employer; others invest in themselves. When an organization pays, we agree up front on goals and on what will and won't be shared.

Is what I say confidential?

Yes. The content of coaching conversations stays private. Sponsoring organizations receive only the progress information everyone agreed to at the start.

How much does it cost?

Fees depend on scope. We'll give you a clear proposal after the first conversation.
